 Welcome to my website. This website is designed to provide students with extra practice in reading and math. It also serves as a resource for parents who need copies of project directions and hand outs. Occasionally, there are pictures and videos for your viewing and sharing pleasure. You can also reach me by using the email link found at the bottom of this page.
 This year at St. Timothy we will be implementing the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program. Please use the Olweus tab above to open a .pdf file which gives an overview of the program. All faculty, staff, students, cafeteria and recess volunteers will be trained in the Olweus program. Parents not acting as volunteers will be given complete information regarding the program. I am very excited about Olweus and look forward to a wonderful school year.
 Use The Story tab above to link to this week's extra practice story. Each story focuses on a particular phonics skill, and reinforces our classroom study.
Encourage your child to read the story. At the end of the story there are comprehension questions, and a sentence writing activity. Drop and drag the answers. Highlight this question section and print it. Do the sentence activity on that printed answer sheet.
After your child completes a story, have him/her bring me the answer sheet. Two points will be averaged into his/her reading grade! The stories change every week with the exception of review weeks and vacations.
 Use the Math tab above to link to extra math practice. Highlight the image and print it out. Solve all problems. Bring it to me and earn one extra credit point. These problems can be done many times for many extra credit points. The page will be updated every six weeks or so.
 Select the specialty tabs as they warrant. Use the Book It! tab to link to a tracking calendar to use to participate in the Pizza Hut Reading Incentive Program. Use the Holey Card link if there is holey card homework and your child left the holey card at school. Picture and video tabs will be activated after Science Fair and other special occasions. Project directions will be available when a project has been assigned and will remain available until the due date of the project.
 Finally, don't forget to return to this page after reading the story and participate in my interactive poll. If you cannot see the poll, set your browser to allow active content. Let your voice be heard!
